Antonio Ducceschi

Chief Commercial Officer - Starhotels Group

Antonio Ducceschi is the Chief Commercial Officer of the Starhotels Group. He is responsible for sales, marketing, revenue and distribution for the 30 hotels of the group, leading a team of 85 people.

His previous position in Starhotels was Cluster General Manager of the Collezione Division, in which capacity he was responsible for the operational and financial performance of 11 hotels in Italy, UK and France, leading a team of eight General Managers.

Previous managerial roles include Regional Director of Sales & Marketing, Europe for Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, based in Monaco, Director of Global Accounts for MPI - Meetings Professionals International, based in Luxembourg, Area Director of Sales & Marketing for Starwood Hotels & Resorts as well as General Manager at Park Hotel Ravenna, in Italy. The preparation to those roles was completed in London at famous Claridge’s Hotel and the Grosvenor House Hotel.

After the Hotel Management School in Italy, Antonio obtained both the CMM (Certificate in Meeting Management) provided by MPI and Cornell University and the CHBA (Certificate in Hospitality Business Acumen) provided by HSMAI. He has recently completed the AVIRA course at the INSEAD School of business.

Antonio has extended his industry reach with various roles in professional associations including Vice President of Hotelier Association of Ravenna, Vice President of Skal International in Monaco, President of MPI Italy, board member of the GBTA European Hotels Committee, member of the International Board of Directors of MPI and now member of the MPI Foundation Global Board of Trustees and currently Vice Chair of Finance.

On a personal level, Antonio is passionate about running and has successfully completed ten marathons around the world.
