Andreas Krampl

Senior Director Culinary EMEA – Marriott International

Andreas has over 30 years experience in the hospitality industry and has been with Marriott since 1999. A graduate of the Culinary Trade School in Bad Ueberkingen in Germany, Andreas has worked and travelled across the globe, spending most of his time in Asia Pacific discovering the secrets of authentic Asian cuisine. He joined the MEA team in January 2018 from the European office in Eschborn where he was Senior Director of Culinary leading the efforts for the European continent.

Andreas’ previous roles with Marriott include Executive Chef JW Seoul, Ritz Carlton Beijing, Ritz Carlton Bali, Ritz Carlton DIFC, Ritz Carlton Jamaica and Ritz Carlton Sydney. In his early career, he trained under Michelin accredited restaurants across Europe and was part of the culinary team of the Cristal Symphony. In his new expanded role, Andreas will lead Marriott’s culinary discipline in EMEA.
